About the Therapist
Stephanie Landrum, M.Ed., LPC, NCC
I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Georgia and national certified counselor who has been in practice for over 11 years. I have a range of clinical experience in settings including hospitals, schools, community service boards, and private practice. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Georgia (Cum Laude) and my Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from the University of West Georgia (Summa Cum Laude).
My expertise includes working with individuals who have anxiety disorders and obsessive-compulsive disorder. I also enjoy working with clients who need help managing daily stressors, life transitions, perfectionism, women’s issues, and depression. I have completed extensive training in Exposure and Response Prevention for the treatment of OCD. I also have advanced training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Cognitive Behavior Therapy, both of which can benefit those with anxiety and/or depression. My continued education includes a focus on maternal mental health through Postpartum Support International. I am also the mental health advisor for the NICU Parent Club, an organization that helps support our local NICU families.
I always work to provide a safe, non-judgmental space for all clients to work on their therapeutic goals. I believe that the most successful therapy combines the creative collaboration of client and therapist and the use of evidence-based therapies. Using an holistic, trauma-informed, therapeutic approach, I am able to tailor each client’s experience to best fit their individual needs. When advantageous, I like to collaborate with a client’s healthcare providers, who also manage aspects of their mental health (with permission, of course!) in order to provide the most comprehensive level of care for each client.
I see clients in the South Metro Atlanta area which includes: Peachtree City, Tyrone, Fayetteville, Senoia, Sharpsburg, and Newnan. I can also see clients living anywhere in the state of Georgia via telehealth.
